It is now a couple days later. I spent those couple days like the pioneer woman I mentioned in my introduction. In honor of her, I mention her again here and list what I accomplished in my time away from my blog, writing projects, and new writings.
Swiftly Swiffer-mopped all the floors.
Rinsed floors with a different mop.
Did a ton of dishes.
Cleaned kitchen countertops and cu[boards.
It was garbage day--took out trash and cleaned out fridge and wiped out all the drawers and shelves in fridge, like every garbage day.
Cleaned out freezer for, again, garbage day.
Took out garbage.
Next morning, put garbage can back.
(Life is a lot about garbage.)
Went grocery shopping two nights in a row--two different stores, peverything away.
The usual cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, sinks, etc.
Managed to not cook--ate out for dinner and for lunch made sandwiches with soup and thawed and reheated leftovers.
Visited with family.
Laundry, as always.
Thought a lot about my writing projects in progress. It is more of a process than any big progress. But a process involves a progression, so in that sense, there is some progress, regardless of how substantial. I will add that I retired early mostly due to vision problems, that I do not much like to edit or proof things anymore, as it gets tedious and goes much slower than my mind and hands would like it to go.
I am not completely happy with how this blog behaves on this website. I find it hard to maneuver compared to Google Blogspot, so I will jave to see if I stick with having my blog on this site or not. If I move it, I will first announce I am doing so.
Til next time--
